Online job postings are non-refundable. We strive to ensure accuracy and timeliness of your online job posting advertisement to achieve the best possible outcome. Should the posting not generate the desired response we will be happy to work with you to enhance the advertisement and outcomes. If you are not satisfied with our online job posting services, we will extend your advertisement for an additional 30 days at no cost to you.

Delivery Policy

Products and services are delivered in person or online. Many services TheJobStores.com offer require direct communication with the customer prior to commencing services. For this reason, an appointment with an Employment Specialist at a retail location of The JobStores™ is often the preferred delivery method, but is not necessary for the delivery of our services

Physical product orders such as Catch Your Career Wave book will be processed within 48 hours of receipt of the order. Online products such as YourCareerWave.com™ and online skills testing will be delivered electronically via an access code within 48 hours of receipt of the order.

For all products and services, processing of the order is guaranteed to be within 48 hours or an Employment Specialist will contact the customer within 1 business day to arrange for the delivery of services either on site or virtually – depending upon the location and preference of the customer.

Return, Exchange, Refund

TheJobStores.com will accept returns for physical products within 30-days of purchase. Please contact customerservice@TheJobStores.com to receive a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number and have your payment refunded.

For products delivered through the Internet and services delivered through The JobStores™, refunds are not available, however our service guarantee does apply. Exchange of products and services and/or extension of services may be available depending upon each particular request. Please see our Service and Product Guarantee for more information.

Payment Methods

VISA and MasterCard are the only forms of payment accepted on TheJobStores.com.

Taxes

Any purchase from TheJobStores.com  will include appropriate sales tax based on where the product is shipped from and the sales tax rate(s) required by local law in the jurisdiction where the purchaser resides. The proof of purchase includes any applicable sales tax.

For products purchased and delivered online such as YourCareerWave.com:

If shipped/delivered to a BC address, 6% GST and 7% PST; to New Brunswick, Nova Scotia & Newfoundland, a combined GST/HST rate of 15%; to Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, PEI, Yukon, NWT, Nunavit, 6% GST; to a non-resident outside of Canada, no taxes are charged.

For educational products:

If shipped/delivered to a BC address, 6% GST (PST exempt); to New Brunswick, Nova Scotia & Newfoundland, GST/HST combined rate of 15%; to Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, PEI, Yukon, NWT, Nunavit, 6% GST; to a non-resident outside of Canada, no taxes are charged.

For service purchased and delivered online (excluding educational products):

If delivered to a BC resident, 6% GST (PST exempt); to a New Brunswick, Nova Scotia or Newfoundland resident, combined GST/HST rate of 15%; to a Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, PEI, Yukon, NWT or Nunavit, 6% GST; to a non-resident, no taxes are charged.

For services purchased online & delivered by our Employment Specialists:

Since these services are being delivered in offices in BC, they are subject to 7% GST regardless of the residency of the individual.

For tax-exempt orders: If your order is being placed on behalf of a tax-exempt individual(s), please be prepared to provide proof of tax-exempt status. The individual name(s) on the order must exactly match the tax-exempt certificate based on the appropriate provincial requirements.
